Fourth of July Community Parade
WHEN: Friday, July 4th, 2008 10:00-12:00 a.m.
PLACE: Paramount Community Center
Everyone decorate your bikes, your kids, your dogs - we are having our second annual Fourth of July Parade. We will start at 10:00 a.m. sharp at the community center and parade thru the Paramount ponds ending at Cayuse Creek & Arlyss. The Meridian Fire Department will lead the parade and ice cream will be distributed to all partipants at the end. If you want to just watch the parade, get your lawn chairs and blankets set up early out along the ponds on Cayuse Creek Road!
University Series - Fly Fishing
WHEN: Wednesday July 23rd, 2008 7:00-8:30 p.m.
PLACE: Paramount Ponds on Cauyse Creek
"For those who have never done so, learning to fly fish can seem an intimidating undertaking. Here at The Idaho Angler, it is our passion to teach all who wish to learn our sport. Fly fishing is enjoyable from the first cast and you will find that the basic skills of the sport are easily learned with some help from our knowledgeable staff. The Idaho Angler team prides itself on providing first class instruction to fly anglers of all levels. " - The Idaho Angler Website. This class is free and open to everyone. When you RSVP, make note of whether or not you will be bringing your own fly rod or not.
A Midsummer Night's Dream

The cast is made up entirely of local, talented youth. Come enjoy a fun night of light-hearted Shakespeare and prepare to be impressed! Please bring a blanket for your family to sit on (low-back chairs in the very back only, please). Don't miss this great event!
Paramount Bunco Club

This event occurs the second Thursday of every month. Please bring $5.00 and munchies to share. To reserve your spot email Bitia @ bitia@cableone.net. In order to make sure there is enough seating, sign up is required for this club.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES - Rebecca Scott

Rebecca Scott has been performing her unique brand of folk-rock in the Northwest for over ten years. In December of 2003, Rebecca was named the top "Mover & Shaker" in Boise entertainment by the Idaho Statesman's free Thrive magazine. During her musical career, Rebecca has had the opportunity to perform with Jonatha Brooke, Shawn Colvin, and with Dar Williams and other artists at Lilith Fair and other NW music festivals. Invite your friends; grab the kids, picnic baskets, blankets, and plan on having a great time with your Paramount neighbors!!!
